Project Manager
5P Consulting is a small but growing boutique business transformation firm located in San Diego. We are seeking a Project Manager/Business Analyst to join our team and support our client engagements. This client-facing, hybrid role focuses on project management, business analysis, and quality assurance activities. The PM/BA is responsible for gathering requirements, managing the scope of those requirements, ensuring quality delivery of client products, and has an executive approach with strong testing skills. You may be a project manager, business analyst or tester. You’ll switch back and forth based on the project and client needs.
In this role, you will be a member of our delivery team and report to our CIO. In your work, you will uphold our values of 5P Consulting and amplify the success of our business.
Job Type: This is a full-time, exempt, remote position
Salary: $80,000-100,000 annually depending on experience

Role and Responsibilities
Project Management:
- This role will be responsible for creating project plans with tasks, resources, deliverables, actions, issues, and risks
- Manage the overall tasks of the project, including actions, issues, and risks
- Take notes at project meetings and make them actionable for the client and 5P team
- Deliver client project status reports and any other project correspondence as needed
- Schedule internal and external project meetings
Business Analysis:
- The ability to gather information, analyze facts, and document results and recommendations
- Document existing business processes
- Design end-to-end process flows via Lucid Charts (logical diagrams)
- Gather and document functional and technical requirements from customers and solutions teams
- Identify opportunities for business process improvements
Quality Assurance:
- Write detailed use cases and execute user, integration, and system tests
- Create system design, configuration, and architecture checklists
- Define metadata maps documenting authoritative sources data and ownership
- Work with our international development team to ensure bug fixes are resolved and unit-tested to clear defects quickly for a quality product
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent
- 5 years + experience combined in project management, business analysis, and QA functions with IT projects or Consulting experience.
- Experience with managing projects in cloud-based technologies (Google Business Suite, Mavenlink, Jira, Lucid/Visio, etc)
- Experience CRM and ERP implementations required
- Salesforce and Data integration knowledge are beneficial but not required as long as you have ERP and CRM experience
- Must have excellent written/verbal communication skills. We work in a global model so communication, attention to detail and a commitment to quality is a must and part of our culture
- Must be a strong team player
- Must be authorized to work in the US
- Working model: Client onsite if needed and remote (working from home model).
