A Focus on Financial Systems and Compliance
A major theme this year was fortifying financial operations and ensuring compliance in complex regulatory environments. In the Energy sector, we tackled a significant constraint within a client’s NetSuite system, where every legal entity needed a unique bank account. For an industry characterized by a high volume of distinct legal entities that don’t always have their own bank accounts, this was a major limitation. Our solution was to engineer a “Dummy Cash” concept. This clever approach allows subsidiary entities to “borrow” banking information from a parent entity for system compliance, while critically automating all necessary intercompany entries to maintain meticulous legal separation and accurate financial recording. This transformation eliminated manual reconciliation, significantly reduced administrative overhead, and accelerated the financial closing process.
Another significant financial system project involved implementing the Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP for an Energy client. This comprehensive project successfully integrated key modules like General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, and Procurement. The solution introduced powerful automations, such as dynamic procurement routing linked to an HRIS system for approval compliance, and integration with a Salesforce system to streamline financial configurations.
In Financial Services/Private Equity, we consolidated multiple contractual documents into a single, standardized, and dynamic version within Salesforce. Using Conga Queries, we were able to dynamically pull the appropriate text based on product SKUs. We also implemented an approval workflow to ensure terms were reviewed before sending documents for signature via DocuSign.
Next-Generation Platform & Architecture
Our team leveraged advanced platforms to drive optimization and data integrity:
- Salesforce Loyalty and Managed Packages: For a client in Professional Services, we faced the challenge of integrating Salesforce Loyalty Management with a managed package, Fonteva, to issue and redeem vouchers through their client portal. Since we couldn’t access the managed package’s flow, we successfully switched the process from Flow to Apex code to run the automation on the back end. This involved using the receipt and sales order lines generated by every transaction in the Fonteva portal to overcome the managed package’s limitations.
- Data Integrity and Governance: In the Medical Device industry, we resolved years of inconsistent historical data related to lead source tracking. We defined a mapping sheet of old-to-new values and implemented a solution using Lightning record pages and flows. This involved creating a custom field to limit sales reps’ choices, with a subsequent flow to populate the main Lead Source fields, ensuring cleaner data and future integrity.
- Strategic Cloud Integration: For an Energy client, we implemented Salesforce Data Cloud to support Land Lease Automation, by leveraging federated data connections, we ensured synchronization across Salesforce, Data Cloud, and Databricks. This established a single source of truth for contract payment schedules, eliminating the need for manual reconciliation and providing stakeholders with greater visibility.

In our managed service engagements, we focused on enhancing flexibility and long-term sustainability. For a Pharmaceutical client, we migrated complex status assignment logic from a restrictive formula field to a record-triggered flow. This provided significantly greater flexibility to manage complex scenarios and gracefully handle exceptions to the established rule.
